Swotah Travel and Adventure organized and accompanied a three-week private tour through Nepal and Bhutan for my wife and me, and we were absolutely delighted with the entire experience. From the initial planning to the actual implementation, everything was excellently organized. The suggested places, tours, guides, drivers, hotels, and transportation matched our expectations perfectly. During the trip, the team regularly checked in with us to make sure everything was going well and to see whether any adjustments were needed. When we both caught a cold for one or two days, a planned hike could be postponed without any problems, which we really appreciated. We enjoyed an incredible 3-week journey through Nepal from mid-September to mid-October, organized by Swotah Travel in Kathmandu. The entire trip was individually tailored to our interests, combining trekking, nature experiences, cultural highlights, and historical insights into a well- balanced itinerary. From the first planning steps, Swotah impressed us with their professionalism and thoughtful suggestions. Every detail was handled with care, and the execution on the ground was flawless. Our guides, drivers and porters were punctual, reliable, friendly and service-oriented, making us feel safe and well looked after throughout the trip. We completed the Annapurna circuit trek with Swotah during May this year. The company itself was very easy to work with leading up to the trip organising every aspect of the trip to our requirements. On arrival we had seamless airport collection and a day of sightseeing with Sonika which we had not planned on doing but was extremely enjoyable and informative learning all about Nepalese history and culture. The Annapurna circuit trek itself was easily one of the best experiences of my life with phenomenal views of the Annapurna mountains throughout. Bihjay was an excellent guide modifying the trek to suit our groups fitness levels and including an extra side trek to Ice lake on top of our planned Tilicho lake visit, both spectacular views. Mr man and Surya were excellent porters teaching us to play Carrom with the locals and about the Yarsagumba native to the Annapurna region.

We have done a trek around the Manaslu through the Larkya Pass, with our guide Bijay and his porters Surya and Casi, they have done an incredible job, they have made us feel safe and very comfortable at all times, the human quality of these 3 professionals has been an experience that we will not forget. I did the Everest Base Camp trek with Swotah Travel (1–12 Sep 2025) and had an amazing experience. From the start, Sijal handled everything smoothly—flight tickets, gear rental, airport transfers, and even stayed in close contact when my return flight was delayed due to weather, offering alternatives like a helicopter or jeep. My guide Ramesh was patient, adaptive, and helped me reach EBC a day earlier than planned. After the trek, I also enjoyed a well-organized cultural tour of four UNESCO heritage sites in Kathmandu. Professional, caring, and reliable—highly recommend Swotah Travel for anyone visiting Nepal!

I completed the ABC 7 days trek with Swotah. Bibek was excellent in terms of the knowledge of the trails, local hotels, food and most of all made me feel like i was travelling with a good friend. We had an awesome holiday in Nepal with Swotah Travels and adventure. Ajay and our guide Kumar helped make it an incredible experience throughout our 10 day trip. We started in Kathmandu with 2 day sightseeing then flew to Pokhara, city of lakes. We trekked to picturesque Ghandruk village for an overnight stay. We then flew into the mountain region of Lower Mustang in a small aircraft which was a thrilling experience in itself. After landing in Jomsom we travelled a short distance to a beautiful village called Marpha where we stayed. It felt like we were transported back in time. Next we had a short trek to Dhumba lake. We visited Kagbeni and Muktinath and back to Jomsom. The landscape in Lower Mustang was absolutely breathtaking. Well worth a visit. We had such memorable trip all thanks to careful planning and co- ordination of Swotah Travels team. Well done guys.

My sister and I travelled to Nepal for a wedding and were referred to Ajay and the team at Swotah Travel for the insider knowledge and expertise in all things Nepalese. We had limited time in Nepal punctuated by family events, and Ajay and the team put together a custom itinerary covering the best of Kathmandu and Pokhara on a whim! It's also worth mentioning that they where most accomodating and understanding when things didn't go to plan (my poor planning that is), very much appreciated! A particular highlight was the chance to go hot air ballooning in Pokhara above the Annapurna mountains, and spending the day sightseeing in Kathmandu listening to the knowledge and passion that Bikash has for Nepalese history, art and culture! Fabulous! We look forward to one day returning to Nepal with a little more time to do some trekking- will definitely using Swotah for our next adventure!

Thank you dear Ajay for organizing a wonderful and memorable five day trip through really local and remote villages. We enjoyed the great hospitality from the peoples and the beautiful landscape and to learn a lot about Nepali Lifestyle and culture. Yes, sometimes it was hard to walk due to the heat but in the end it was really worthy. Lots auf thanks for your great and lovely stuff Temba, Tek, Raj Kumar and Surya!
